A global market for exporting
To Export
With the development of the Internet, trade has changed in size, making the world a global market. Portals such as Alibaba, with the birth of data banks such as Kompass, and also with simplified customs procedures and specialization compared to the past, have changed direction of production as the prices of products have become cheaper and better quality. While it used to be valuable to produce, today brand-oriented growth has become important. In this case, it's time to export...
To Export
All entrepreneurs want to touch it with a magic wand and export it quickly. It's unlikely, as predicted. It has to go through some stages. Most importantly, do you know your own product? I hear you say, "What does that mean?"
Setting target markets for your product is the first step in this business. There are around 240 countries in the world (this number varies according to different sources). Assuming that we spend an average of one month for each country, we will need a period of 240 months, so 20 years...It will not make sense to set out with this account, nor will there be a roadmap for you.
Then we have to figure out which countries to turn to first. That's where we'll need the first information: the GTIP number.
What is GTIP?
The 12-digit code used in the Turkish Customs Tariff Ruler is called the Customs Tariff Statistics Position (GTIP). The first 6 digits of this code are the Harmonized System (HS) Nomanclature code used by all member states of the World Customs Organization, the 7-8th is the Combined Nomanclature (CN) code used by countries of the European Union, the 9-10th is the code showing positions opened due to our different tax practices, and the 11-12th is used to show statistical codes. The safest and shortest way to find out your GTIP number is to consult a Customs Consultant. Once we know the GTIP number, we can now begin the search. In my next post, I'll tell you how you can do research using the GTIP number...
I wish you days of export.
