What Documents Should We Prepare When Exporting?
In order to export, we must first find a buyer for our product abroad, then determine the delivery method and agree on the payment method. After the loading, we need to arrange paperwork to be sent to the buyer of the goods. Around 120 documents can be arranged during export in Turkey. Fortunately, these 120 documents are not for every export. But what documents are we going to edit?
It is possible to mention 3 variables when determining export documents. These are the country, the product, and the delivery form. Let's explain it with an example. For example, let's be exporting cleaning products to Germany in the form of CFR delivery. In this case;
As the country with variable 1 is Germany, we will need to arrange ATR.
Since the 2nd variable is CFR, we will need to arrange the loading house (consignment, CMR, etc.) to the shipper.
Since the product that is variable 3 is a cleaning product, we will need to issue an Analysis Report to the buyer.
In addition to these 3 variables, we can now say that our papers are ready after we have edited the list of invoices and checks subject to each export transaction.
So for this example;
1- ATR
2-Consignment
3- Analysis Report
4- Bill
5- Checklist
By organizing, we will have completed the document editing phase of our exports.
At this point, we need to address this issue as well. The recipient may also have additional requests for these documents. If there is nothing against the law and our interests, we can fulfill these requests as well.
I wish you days of export.
