Export Practices
EXPORT APPLICATIONS
Let's start with two questions,
1) What are export practices?
2) What does it do and what does it matter?
Our answer to our first question is; The issue we call export is ultimately a sales process, the most important difference from domestic sales is that the goods sold pass through customs, and because the countries of the firm that bought the sale are different, the rules that must be applied are different from domestic transactions.
When we look at export sales in terms of finding the appropriate, efficient market for our product, from the stage of finding the right customer, making a sales agreement, delivering the goods sold to the customer, and performing the collection, we can call it;
1. Market research, market analysis, to find the efficient market suitable for our product,
2. Determination of market-appropriate sales rules (such as payment terms, delivery conditions), policies, the path to follow,
3. Reaching the right customers in the market, promoting and marketing activities,
4. Making sales agreements,
5. In accordance with the sales agreements made; The sale subject is to remove the goods from our warehouse and perform the transactions on our part so that they can reach our customer's warehouse, and the subsequent transactions on our part to ensure that the collection takes place smoothly in accordance with the contract. To ensure that these transactions are carried out in the most appropriate and best way possible, in terms of our legal responsibility and customer satisfaction.
The procedures mentioned in the fifth and final section are the subject of the title "EXPORT APPLICATION". Regarding this title, the first of our two questions at the top was, "What are the export practices? We have answered our question.
What is the importance of export practices? As for our question;
5 above. In short, the disruption of what we have described as "the disruption of the transactions that fall upon us so that the goods that are subject to sale can come out of our warehouse and reach our customer's warehouse, and the subsequent transactions that fall upon us to ensure that the collection is carried out smoothly in accordance with the contract", can cause all the work done so far to be wasted, the efforts. Incorrect loading, erroneous document editing, delays such as late arrival of documents to the customer may result in the customer receiving the goods purchased late from customs in his country, hence the cost of waiting (damaging) or perhaps paying extra taxes based on the size of the error, and worse, inability to withdraw the goods from customs at all. As you know, the concept of "quality" is not only limited to the technical quality of the goods, but also includes packaging, documents that ensure customer satisfaction, quick delivery, accurate and timely arrival. It is not enough to produce the best product that the customer wants, it is necessary to continue to perform this correctly the operations we have listed above.
In the next chapter of our article, we will continue to provide information about the glitches and errors we often encounter about export practices.
