Current e-Apostille Implementation Begins in 120 Countries
PTT It opened the digital document approval system, e-Apostil.
Apostille is a document approval system that allows the fact of an official document to be legally used in another country by ratification. Apostil's rules were established by the Hague Convention of October 5, 1961. Apostille rules apply only between member or party states to the Hague Convention. The electronic execution of this document approval system is called e-Apostil. e-Apostil, www.eapostil.gov.tr Through its website, the application for the document requested to be applied for apostille consists of the stages of the application being communicated to the institution authorized to implement apostille (Ministry of Justice or Ministry of Interior), the competent institution creating the relevant document electronically, and the submission of the application to the applicant via eapostil.gov.tr website again using secure data transmission routes.
Officially approved documents, which will be valid in 120 countries, will be easily created in government offices without waiting in line. Still, such documents were causing a waste of time by applying to the relevant government office and waiting for document approval. With the new application, the time, labor, and financial losses spent reaching apostille-imposed documents will be blocked.
The document, which is created by the relevant institution electronically and implemented e-apostille, is signed by PTT with a Qualified Electronic Certificate (NES) and delivered to the applicant. In this way, the accuracy and integrity of the delivered document is guaranteed. Foreign official authorities, where electronic documents are delivered, can verify the accuracy of these documents using the Document I Want to Verify button.
