$10 Billion in Revenue Expected from Privatization of IDO and IGDAS

Privatization of IDO and IGDAŞ was adopted in Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Council. Despite objections from members of the CHP, it was decided to privatise the parliament with a block sale method. If the figure after the privatisation is adopted by the legislature, the privatisation will be completed.

150 Km Metro To Be Built

With an expected revenue of $10 billion following privatisations, around 150 km of subways are planned to be built. IDO, which carries 102 million passengers and 7 million vehicles a year, is considered the largest passenger transport company in the world.
