Russia<\/a> According to the official statement of the Central Bank, it fixed the Russian ruble to gold as of 28 March 2022; accordingly, it costs 5,000 rubles per gram of gold bullion.<\/p>\n

According to this calculation, an ounce of gold would amount to 140,000 rubles, and gold would cost $1,400 per ounce when the ruble was used instead of $1,928, which is the equivalent of dollars.<\/p>\n

With another return, Russia has discounted the US dollar price worldwide by about 30 percent when it comes to gold with this decision. What Russia is doing is the financial equivalent of blowing up a nuclear bomb.
