However, many multinational companies, especially companies based in Europe and the United States, are either announcing their withdrawal from Russia or suspending their operations to discourage Russia. This morning (March 7, 2022) the US-based film company Netflix announced that it had ceased operations in Russia. Other companies protesting against Russia include:<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>UK-based\u00a0<strong>BP<\/strong>It announced that it would divest its stake in Rosneft, the oil company in Russia, which the state has also partnered with.
